Le vigne, con un’età media di circa 60 anni, crescono su suoli argillo-calcarei caratterizzati da abbondante presenza di pietre. Le uve vengono vinificate tradizionalmente a grappolo intero e il vino affina a lungo in botti di rovere. Profondo e strutturato, esprime note di frutti rossi e scuri maturi, spezie e delicate sfumature terrose. Al palato è intenso ed elegante, con una trama tannica fitta e raffinata e una notevole capacità di evoluzione nel tempo.
